KMOV, the CBS affiliate in St. Louis, has made a new hire.
Venton Bladin joins the team as a general assignment reporter, he started on Monday.
According to STL Today, Bladin comes from Birmingham, Alabama. He was a reporter there for three years.
He’s reported in Huntsville, Ala., Charleston, S.C., and Charlottesville, Va. Before that, he spent close to six years off air as an assignment editor in Baltimore and Washington. He paid tribune to his former colleague, the late Jim Vance, over the weekend.
