Ah, the perils of having to print a newspaper. Some New York Times home delivery subscribers received not only the Thursday edition of the paper today, but some Sunday sections as well, like “Arts & Leisure.”
The front page of Sunday’s Arts & Leisure section, as delivered this morning, features Mike Hale’s review of NBC’s Ann Curry… with no mention of her imminent departure. The front page of today’s business section, also as delivered this morning, features Brian Stelter‘s story about Curry’s departure.
The Sunday Arts & Leisure section is printed on Tuesday, and starts arriving in some subscriber’s mailboxes on Thursday. More people get it on Saturday, and others Sunday. It has already been printed, so it won’t be changed, even for people that haven’t received the section yet.
