CNN’s Don Lemon Hosts 22nd Annual NLGJA Benefit

The National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association held its 22nd annual Headlines & Headliners benefit last night in New York. The event raises tens of thousands of dollars for the organization’s programs, including those that provide scholarships to LGBTQ aspiring journos.

CNN Tonight host Don Lemon emceed the event, and national TV newsers were out in full force.

Fox News, which has experienced a rough week, had a significant presence at the event. Fox News co-presidents Bill Shine and Jack Abernethy (shown above with NLGJA executive director Adam Pawlus) were among the attendees. In fact, they were the only two news network presidents in attendance. Fox News was also the Gold sponsor of the event.
