Today show contributor Jenna Bush Hager, who was filling in on the fourth hour of the show earlier this week, has given birth to her second child.
Jenna and Henry Hager welcomed baby Poppy into the world Thursday morning. Poppy is named after her great-grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, whose nickname as a child was “poppy.” Poppy Louise joins older sister Mila and shares a birthday with the daughter of Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. Vale Guthrie Feldman was born Aug. 13 2014. Guthrie has been texting with Bush Hager who explained they FaceTimed with the proud great-grandfather who was “very emotional.”
