TNT's NBA Playoff Coverage Off To Record Start

TNT’s coverage of the 2011 NBA Playoffs is the most watched and highest rated postseason to date in cable television history.

Through 19 games, the network’s coverage has averaged a 2.7 U.S. HH rating (+29 percent, 2.1 U.S. HH Rating in 2010), 4,259,000 (+33 percent, 3,194,000 in 2010) total viewers and 3,136,000 households (+29 percent, 2,432,000 in 2010).

TNT has delivered strong double-digit growth across all key demos, including:

  • A18-34 +39%Â   (1,426,000 vs. 1,026,000)
  • A18-49 +39%Â   (2,456,000 vs. 1,774,000)
  • A25-54 +34%Â   (2,175,000 vs. 1,662,000)
  • M18-34 +37%Â   (1,009,000 vs. 739,000)
  • M18-49 +40%Â   (1,770,000 vs. 1,265,000)
  • M25-54 +37%Â   (1,551,000 vs. 1,136,000)
