Time Warner Cable Calls MSNBC “The No. 2 News Network”

As of today, MSNBC is available in HD in the nation’s largest market. Time Warner Cable in New York City added MSNBC-HD to channel 714 today, three weeks after the network began broadcasting in HiDef.

MSNBC HD, SetAsia and The Filipino Channel

New York, NY – July 22, 2009 – Time Warner Cable has added the following new channels in New York City:

• MSNBC HD – the No.2 news network, offers a variety of 24-hour news programs including live news coverage, talk shows political analysis and award-winning documentary programming. Available on Channel 714.

• SetAsia Channel – family entertainment channel from Southeast Asia with family movies, game shows, concerts, news and talk shows in Hindi. Available on Channel 561 for $14.95 per month.

• The Filipino Channel (TFC) – offers live news, game shows, dramas and children’s shows, 24-hours in Tagalog. Available on Channel 594 for $11.95 per month.
