The Ticker: ‘MTP’ Zeebox, CNN, Turner Ad

  • NBC’s “Meet The Press” has signed up oil company Shell as the sponsor of its Zeebox app experience. Zeebox is a second screen app that adds trivia, bonus content and other interactive experiences to TV shows. The Shell ads will sync on TV and Zeebox.

  • CNN is touting results from a new EMS survey in Europe. The survey, which measures media consumption among affluent Europeans, says that CNN reaches 41% of the dataset, compared to 30% for Sky news and the BBC, 29% for Euronews, 15% for CNBC and 12% for Bloomberg.

  • Turner Broadcasting has an ad out in trade magazines this week, with a giant arrow filled with talent, and the slogan “Want to know where media is heading? We’ll lead you there.” Which talent made the cut? Check it out after the jump.
