On Sunday, when a TV critic asked Katie Couric if she had thought about what to wear on her first CBS evening newscast, Sean McManus snapped back: “Are you going to ask Charlie Gibson what he’s going to wear?”
The answer is yes. Gibson joined the TCA press tour via satellite from Cyprus, “so, there he was, warship behind him, when it did, in fact, get asked,” Tim Goodman blogs.
“I don’t know. Ask Katie,” Gibson replied. “I don’t know if she took a shot at me with that or what. I have four suits and five ties and whatever’s on the right in the closet I put on.”
