Sunday Show Ratings: July 10

It was a positive week for the Sunday public affairs programs, which each delivering significant year-over-year improvement in total viewers and in the news demo.

Face the Nation with John Dickerson was the most-watched Sunday public affairs program for July 10. The episode was up 12.5 percent in total viewers and up 26 percent in the news demo compared to the same Sunday in 2015.

Meet the Press with Chuck Todd won the news demo this past week, marking its 15th straight win over CBS and 14th straight win over ABC in the category. No program delivered a more significant year-over-year improvement, +38 percent in the demo and +33 percent in total viewers from the same week in 2015.

An additional 1.446 million total viewers and 473,000 A25-54 demo viewers watched MTP with rebroadcasts on NBC and on MSNBC.

ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos finished July 10 as No. 3 in total viewers and No. 2 in the key news demo. This Week was up 18 percent in total viewers and up 21 percent in the news demo compared to same Sunday in 2015.

Fox News Sunday on FOX also delivered a year-over-year boost, both in total viewers (+13 percent) and in the news demo (+6 percent). If we include the cable replays, Fox News Sunday delivered a total of 3,911,000 total viewers and 770,000 from the news demo.

Univision’s Al Punto increased its audience from the prior Sunday among total viewers (+10 percent), and Adults 25-54 (+22 percent).

*Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in only 78.31% of the country.
