CBS’ Face the Nation with John Dickerson was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in total viewers on September 13. However, ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos won the key key A25-54 demo for the third straight week and 14 of the last 16.
This Week is up +13 percent in viewers and up +4 percent in the demo compared to the same week last year, while FTN was up +6 percent in viewers and even in the demo. NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd finished second in both categories. MTP delivered an additional 1.24 million total viewers and 588,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace combined with cable replays for 3.45 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 1.75 million total viewers and 273,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 57.4% of the country.
