CBS’ “Face the Nation” took home the top spot in both ratings measurements October 13, with NBC’s “Meet the Press” in second and ABC’s “This Week” in third. “Fox News Sunday” was fourth and Univision’s “Al Punto” was fifth.
Compared to the same week last year, “Al Punto” showed the most growth, up +37% in total viewers and +20% in the A25-54 demographic. “Meet the Press” and “This Week” were both up across the board: NBC was up +10% in total viewers and +17% in the demo, while ABC was up +20% and +8%, respectively.
“Face the Nation” was up +2% in total viewers and down -11% in the demo, and “Fox News Sunday” was down -7% and -26%, respectively.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,958,000 total viewers and 380,000 A25-54 viewers. Cable rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,243,000 total viewers and 517,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
