CBS’ “Face the Nation” won in both ratings measurements on July 27. ABC’s “This Week” was second in total viewers and NBC’s “Meet the Press” was second in the A25-54 demographic.
Compared to the same week last year, Univison’s “Al Punto” was up the most, growing +58% in total viewers and +20% in the A25-54 demographic. CBS (+5% in total viewers / +15% in the demo) and NBC ( +3% / +19%) were both up across the board. “Fox News Sunday” was up +16% in total viewers and flat in the demo, and ABC’s “This Week” was down-5% and up +11%, respectively.
Cable rebroadcasts of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,187,000 total viewers and 460,000 A25-54 viewers. Cable replays of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 777,000 total viewers and 371,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 67% of the country.

As for July sweeps: CBS’ “Face the Nation” won in total viewers and ABC’s “This Week” won in the A25-54 demographic. ABC’s program was the only Sunday public affairs show to grow in both ratings measurements compared to the year-ago sweep, up +16% in total viewers and +20% in the A25-54 demographic. CBS (+4% in total viewers / -4% in the demo) and Fox (+3% / -18%) were both up in total viewers and down in the demo, while NBC was down -8% and -3%, respectively.
