NBC’s “Meet the Press” won again last week, topping its competition in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demographic. But ABC’s “This Week” came in second July 1, topping CBS’ “Face the Nation” in both ratings measurements.
“Fox News Sunday” was fourth and Univision’s “Al Punto” was fifth. “Al Punto” was live from Mexico City last week with coverage of the Mexican election. The program aired live across all time zones at 1pmET/10amPT.
Compared to the same week last year, “This Week,” “Face the Nation” and “Fox News Sunday” were up, and “Al Punto” was flat. “Meet the Press” was preempted last year for Wimbledon coverage.
Cable news replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,858,000 Total Viewers and 547,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour airs in just 69% of the country.
