A day before the Iowa Caucus, CBS’s Face the Nation was the most-watched Sunday public affairs show, while NBC’s Meet the Press was No. 1 in the A25-54 demo. Compared to the same Sunday last year only Fox News Sunday saw growth in both viewers and the demo. Chris Wallace had a sit-down interview with Donald Trump, Trump’s first on FNC following his snub of the Fox News GOP debate a few days earlier.
A cable replay of Fox News Sunday on Fox News Channel averaged 686,000 total viewers and 156,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 58 percent of the country.
