Smoltz Faces Foreclosure on Wyoming Property

By Cam Martin

MLB Network analyst John Smoltz is facing foreclosure on property he owns in Wyoming, according to the Jackson Hole Daily paper. The former Cy Young Award winner and longtime Braves pitcher reportedly owes Wells Fargo Bank about $1.6 million on a lot in the Snake River Sporting Club, a development that has changed hands several times since 2004 and been at the center of a major bankruptcy case. Smoltz’s lot is set to go up for auction on Aug. 23.
