ABC’s Robin Roberts has been selected as the emcee for Friday’s ticker-tape parade in honor of the World Cup-champion U.S. Women’s National Team. The parade will take place along Lower Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes Friday at 11 a.m. ET. This will be the first time in more than 30 years that New York City will host a parade for a team not based in the city.
