Piers Morgan’s Twitter tirade against Larry King over the weekend, has spilled into Monday, and now it involves King’s wife. This afternoon, Shawn King tweeted at Morgan, explaining what her husband was getting at when he criticized Morgan’s interview style, during a chat with a Buffalo radio station last week. (Yes, an interview with a Buffalo radio station is now reverberating around the Twittersphere).

Wow. Graceless old toad. This latest battle — and there have been several — all started when King spoke with WGRF 96.9 in Buffalo while promoting the third season of “Larry King Now” on Ora.tv.
Here’s what King said, that got under Morgan’s skin:
Personally, I like him fine, but it was all about him. It was the opposite of the way I interview. He was the opposite. So now they not only had someone who was British, different, but then he would use the word ‘I’ every other word… He became, I thought a bit, in my opinion, pompous, but that’s the way I looked at it. So I had trouble watching Piers Morgan’s show, and I guess a lot of other people did too.
And that’s when the Tweets started flying…
