On Inaugural Eve, FNC Has Most-Watched Prime Time Since Election

By Chris Ariens

Just as most Americans say they made Fox News Channel their primary source for 2016 election news, viewers also are flocking to the network for inaugural coverage.

FNC averaged 4.8 million viewers between 8 and 11 p.m. ET last night, giving the network its highest-rated prime time since the night after the election.

For the Inaugural Welcome Concert, which took place from 4 to 7 p.m. ET, FNC averaged 4.5 million total viewers and 868,000 in the A25-54, more than the combined average of CNN and HLN.
