At 10:15amET, CNN and MSNBC went to live coverage of President Obama speaking at the White House in honor of newly-confirmed Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor as well as Sotomayor’s subsequent address. Fox News continued with regularly scheduled “America’s Newsroom” programming, including a segment from Kabul. FNC did feature a brief “Breaking News” report, in which Megyn Kelly was actually surprised to learn that the footage of the president and the new Justice was live from the White House.
