News Corp. – Dow Deal Set

Today’s WSJ reports the News Corp. deal to buy Dow Jones is all but done. A tentative agreement is set. The deal goes to the board for a vote tonight and, in the “biggest hurdle” yet, to the divided Bancroft family on Thursday.

News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch told the NY Times in May he would like to include the Wall Street Journal name in his forthcoming business channel. But last week it was announced the channel will be called Fox Business Network.
