Former “GMA Weekend” producer, Ted Winner, is moving to The Weather Channel.
Winner will be Senior Executive Producer for morning programming and a spokesperson told us, “Ted is an award-winning television producer with 20 years in broadcast journalism and extensive experience covering weather, including producing award-winning content in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Floyd. We are looking forward to him joining TWC.”
Before leaving in June, Winner was Senior broadcast producer with the weekend edition of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” He had been with the program since 2004.
