Networks Taking Obama Presser

By Alex Weprin

At 1:30 PM ET, President Obama will be giving his first press conference in months, and the first since he won reelection just over a week ago.

The cable news channels will, as usual, be dedicating their programs in that hour to covering the conference, and the broadcasters will be breaking into regular programming to carry it as well.

NBC will have Brian Williams anchoring from New York, with David Gregory in Washington and Chuck Todd at the White House. CBS will have Scott Pelley anchoring. ABC will have Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos anchoring with Martha Raddatz and Jonathan Karl in Washington.

The President is expected to be asked about the Petraeus scandal, though any other subject is presumable also on the table.
