Reagan Brothers Crowd Cable News

By Chris Ariens

A few hours after Michael Reagan, son of Pres. Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman, was on Fox News Channel Tuesday, his half brother Ron Reagan was on MSNBC. Both Reagan brothers were talking politics and, in the case of the Fox News segment, the media’s coverage of politics.

Michael Reagan and Scott Rasmussen were guests on Megyn Kelly’s show. At one point, Kelly showed a CNBC clip of NBC News White House correspondent Chuck Todd seeming to take a shot at less-than-reliable polling, like Rasmussen’s, pointing out how much NBC News (and partner The Wall Street Journal) pay for their polling. While Kelly noted the historical accuracy of Rasmussen’s polling, he laughed off the criticism: “It’s part of the life of being a pollster,” he said. Reagan added, tongue in cheek, “Don’t ask me about the Reagans. Boy, they never say anything mean about us!”

An MSNBC analyst and former show host, Ron Regan is a regular on “Hardball” and other shows. Michael Reagan has been upping his appearances on Fox News, having guested more frequently on Kelly’s show as well as “Your World” and FNC’s weekend shows.
