Morning Show Ratings: Week of Sept. 8

morningshowanchors2014“CBS This Morning” may be in third place, but it’s the only morning show to see year-over-year growth. Last week, “CTM” was the only breakfast program to grow in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. “CTM” was up +5% in viewers and up +2% in the demo, closing the gap with NBC’s “Today” by 120,000 viewers.

“Good Morning America” still leads the pack, and was up +2% in the demo, but down -2% in total viewers. “Today” was flat among viewers and down -9% in the demo. “Today” had its best week in viewers since the week of May 19. Meanwhile, “GMA” is posting its largest season margins over “Today” in both total viewers and the demo in more than 22 years.
