Morning Show Ratings: Week of June 16

morningshowanchors2014“Good Morning America” wins another week in the mornings. The ABC show is putting up its largest total viewer season margin over NBC’s “Today” in more than 22 years and biggest in A25-54 in 21 years.

For the week of June 16, “Today” had its closest total viewer margin with “GMA” in nearly three months and its narrowest A25-54 gap in three weeks.

Still, both “Good Morning America” and “Today” were down compared to the same week last year. “GMA” was down -6% in both total viewers and the demo, while “Today” was flat in viewers and down -6% in the A25-54 news demo.

Only No. 3 “CBS This Morning” saw growth in both measurements: up +19% in viewers and up +6% in the demo.

The averages for the week of June 16, 2014:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 4.940M / NBC: 4.302M / CBS: 3.091M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.791M / NBC: 1.618M / CBS: 884K
