More Than 25 Million Watch World Series Game 7

Last night’s deciding World Series game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers was seen by more than 25 million people.

Major League Baseball and Fox Sports say that game seven–which the Cardinals would win 6-2–averaged 25.4 million viewers, the most for a World Series game since 2004’s game seven, which saw the Boston Red Sox break an 86 year drought and take home the championship.

For Fox, it was also the most-watched Friday night in the network’s history.
