Speaking directly to Donald Trump Friday morning, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski said the GOP presidential nominee’s calling Hillary Clinton a “bigot” was damaging to the country.
“I just have to say it,” Brzezinski began after playing a clip from CNN where Anderson Cooper pressed Trump on whether he believed that Clinton herself was personally bigoted. “Donald Trump, you have no idea what your words mean. You have no idea.”
“I can’t pretend and sort of try and cover this fairly, and put it the veil of objectivity,” Brzezinski said. “This is wrong. You have no idea what your words mean and what you’re doing to this country.”
