When Fox News announced Megyn Kelly would take the 9 p.m. hour, launching “The Kelly File,” CNN’s “Piers Morgan Live” host Piers Morgan welcomed his new timeslot competitor with a challenging tweet: “Bring it on, @megynkelly”. Monday night, now former CNN host Morgan appeared on Kelly’s show, and conceded defeat. “The mere fact that I’m now a guest on your show indicates that you ‘brought it’,” he said.
There was a handshake, and then, the moment. Kelly, who had said earlier that she was too polite to bring up Morgan’s cancellation at CNN, said “thank you very much for being such a gracious loser.”
