Martin Bashir’s MSNBC show will finally hit the airwaves Monday, February 28, at 3pmET. The network also announced that Thomas Roberts, who has been filling in at 3pm, will now anchor the 11amET hour which means “Jansing & Co.” is scaled back to one hour at 10amET.
MSNBC announced Bashir’s hire last July. He joined the network in September and his show has been in development since.
Roberts, a former Headline News anchor, joined MSNBC as a fill-in host last April anchoring MSNBC’s “First Look” and NBC’s “Early Today.” In December, the network brought him on full time. Chris Jansing, who also remains a correspondent for NBC News, has been tapped to helm MSNBC’s coverage of the Royal Wedding this Spring.

Team MSNBC,
I have fantastic news to share with you today. Martin Bashir will go on the air in the 3pm time slot on the 28th.
Bob Morrissey will lead the “Martin Bashir” show and team. Bob, Martin and team have been eagerly awaiting the launch date and now it is one week away.
With the addition of Martin to our lineup, we also now have an opportunity to add Thomas Roberts to another time slot.
On the 28th, Thomas Roberts will anchor “MSNBC Live” at 11AM. Tammy Fine will lead that show and team.
Jansing and Co. will remain in the 10AM time slot. These changes will also allow Chris to travel for several upcoming events, the Royal Wedding and the Pope Beatification, to name a few.
Gresham Striegel will continue to lead that show and team.
