CBS News correspondent Kelly Wallace has left that network for a new gig as chief correspondent at the website iVillage, which is self-described as “the first and most established media company dedicated exclusively to connecting women at every stage of their lives.”
Wallace had been with CBS since the start of 2007, when she signed-on after thirteen years at CNN.
iVillage is owned by NBCU, which means she’ll now be working under the same umbrella as her husband, Matt Saal, who’s EP of MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.”
While Wallace will host and produce web-shows and act as the site’s spokesperson, NYTimes’ Media Decoder writes about how the job also comes with responsibilities in the ad sales dept of NBC.
