As rumors continue to swirl about her future at CBS News, “CBS Evening News” anchor Katie Couric is heading to Iraq, according to the NY Times’ Bill Carter.
Couric will report on the military and political situation in the country, eight years after the U.S. invaded.
Couric has been to Iraq before, most recently in 2007, when she interviewed General David Petraeus.
