Which of President Obama’s 2012 Election Interviews Was the Toughest?

obama stewartWhite House Press Secretary Jay Carney‘s pick for President Obama’s toughest 2012 election interview might surprise you.

“Probably the toughest interview he had was with Jon Stewart,” Carney told CBS’ Chief White House Correspondent Major Garrett during a discussion at George Washington University today.

Carney added that Stewart produced the most “substantive, challenging” interview for the president leading up to the 2012 election, and that Stewart packages news in a way that draws young eyeballs, which is who the president was trying to reach by going on “The Daily Show.”

But Greta Van Susteren isn’t laughing at other comments Carney made about Fox News, taking to GretaWire to criticize Carney for suggesting “ridiculous stories” coming from Fox News, like how many times former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared at the White House; Greta also called the White House “delusional” on the issue of transparency.

‘Never been a more transparent administration?’

OOPS! I love to get credit for identifying a falsehood but we are not the only ones. I also know the White House likes to blame Fox News for all their problems, but it is NOT just Fox New that outs the White House about its false claim of transparency.
