Tucker_3.14.jpgTucker Carlson is going out in style. In the first few minutes of his final show, the MSNBC anchor told his audience (and his bosses) the finale would feature, “what we’ve been doing for the past few years.” He then got an on-air pat on the back from longtime guest and Clinton supporter Lanny Davis. “This is your last appearance on the show,” Carlson said, adding, “This is everyone’s last appearance.”

Davis told Carlson, “I think it’s unfortunate that this network has stopped this program because, for me, being able to disagree agreeably is what you stand for. I think it’s a great loss for all of us,” the former special counsel to Pres. Bill Clinton said. He then added, “and I still disagree with you on everything!”

Carlson took viewers to the first (of the last) commercial breaks with some of his reporting during the Israel/Lebanon war in July 2006.
