Imus on Brokaw: “He’s Not the Guy I’d Want to be In A Foxhole With”

The NYPost writes about some comments Don Imus made on his radio show Wednesday directed at NBC’s Tom Brokaw, who was a regular on Imus’ WFAN/MSNBC show. “He [Brokaw] is not the most courageous person I’ve ever met in my life,” Imus said. “He’s not the guy I’d want to be in a foxhole with.”

Imus was talking with Forbes’ James Brady about an interview Brokaw did with the Seattle Times earlier this month. The Post quotes Brokaw as saying, Imus “should have been fired” over the Rutgers incident.

“I’ve known him a long time, and I was greatly disappointed in him, but I still like him,” Imus said.
