As if we needed more proof that the NHL is getting bigger, NBC will air Hockey Day in America on February 20. The six-hour broadcast is part of the fourth-annual Hockey Weekend Across America, which we bet you didn’t know about until just now.
According to a release, “The day-long event will celebrate hockey with a slate of NHL games that are scheduled to include Philadelphia, New York Rangers, Washington, Buffalo, Detroit, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Boston.”
The commentators and the site are still TBD.
