Headline News: New Shows To Be Previewed; Ticker Changes Coming; & More

First on TVNewser: All of yesterday’s rumors have been confirmed by other employees at CNN Headline News. At a meeting Tuesday afternoon, staffers were told that special preview hours of “Showbiz Tonight” and “Nancy Grace” will air on Sunday, Feb. 20, most likely in the evening.

The Headline News ticker is getting a makeover, as well. On top of CNN’s scrolling ticker will be a Headline News logo, a Dow market ticker and sports info. The new ticker will be smaller than the current one, an insider said.

“And as for looking more like CNN, yeesh, unfortunately it’s correct,” another employee wrote. “Feels like we’re just here to tryout CNN’s talent and programming, and we may become dispensible.”
