Dan Harris is now the official anchor of World News Sunday, the network announced today.
Harris has been anchoring the broadcast for some time now; the previous anchor was Terry Moran (before he moved to Nightline). Harris will continue as a New York-based correspondent as well.
“Dan has covered a wide range of stories overseas and domestically with intelligence, perspective, and tenacity,” David Westin says. “He is a strong story-teller with a talent for finding the unexpected and uncovered angle in whatever he reports. These talents will also distinguish him as anchor and will be an enormous benefit to the program.”
