Gawker Hires Fox News ‘Mole’

By Alex Weprin

Gawker says that it has hired a Fox News employee to deliver gossip on the internal workings of the network, and to provide content such as video clips not meant for public consumption. The first clip features Mitt Romney talking to Sean Hannity in-between interview segments about the horses his family owns.

Does the FNC Mole have a grudge against the network? of course they do, but at least they are open about it. They say the tipping point was the now-infamous “Hip Hop BBQ” story on The Fox Nation, the FNC-owned website that has in the past gotten creative with the facts, thanks to its user-generated stories and provocative headlines.

“So why not just leave Fox News?” you might ask. Good question! I’ve asked myself that same thing many times. And I am leaving. Sooner rather than later, I’m guessing. But I can’t just leave quietly, can I? Where’s the fun in that? So I’m John McClane-ing this shit. I’m inside the building, crawling through the air vents, gathering intel, and passing it along to Carl Winslow.
