Fugitive Arrested After Story Airs on CNN’s The Hunt

John Walsh got another one.

Federal investigators say Walsh’s CNN show, The Hunt, played a “significant role” in the arrest of Paul Jackson, a fugitive wanted for rape and kidnapping in Oregon.

Jackson’s case was profiled on The Hunt, and a tip was called in after the show aired, according to the U.S. Marshalls’ Oregon Fugitive Task Force. Jackson was found in Guadalajara, Mexico after being on the run for nearly 25 years.

It’s the second arrest this year for The Hunt. In August, a viewer tip led to the safe recovery of a kidnapped three-year-old girl.
