Fox News has just shown that it’s a force not just on TV, but in the social sphere as well. AllFacebook reports the Fox News Facebook page was the most commented on brand page in the world last year.
Mainly spurred by the election, Fox News was the most heavily commented on Facebook page in the world in 2012. Track Social found that Fox News received an average of 7,443.5 comments per day.
A quick glance at FNC’s Facebook page today shows the stories include anywhere from a few dozen to several thousand comments each — in addition to thousands of “likes” — showing there’s a very active and vocal fan base beyond the TV.
