Fox News Channel anchor (and New Jersey native) Martha MacCallum is profiled in this month’s (201) Magazine. It turns out the “America’s Newsroom” anchor, who says now is a “really incredible and really important” time in the world, has her sister to thank for her love of news:
“When I was a little kid,” she says, “my sister sat me down in front of the TV to watch the Watergate hearings. I was barely old enough to understand what was going on, and she explained everything to me. I’ve always been fascinated by the presidency. So I think that news and history are wonderful, and being able to have a front seat to watch these stories unfold is the greatest privilege of what I do, and it’s why I love it so much.”
