FBN to Host Second GOP Debate

By Chris Ariens

FBN, which held its first-ever primary debate last month, is adding another GOP debate next month.

The RNC-sanctioned debate will take place on Jan. 14 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, S.C., two days after President Obama’s State of the Union address.

The network’s first debate, moderated by Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and the Wall Street Journal’s Gerard Baker broke all records for the network drawing 13.5 million viewers.

The Jan. 14 debate will be the sixth GOP debate of this cycle. CNN hosts the next Republican debate a week from tonight in Las Vegas. The RNC was so irate over CNBC’s handling of their GOP debate in October, it pulled out of one that was to be to be hosted by NBC News in late February.
