As happens this time of year, with the return to standard time, the three evening newscasts saw a boost in viewership week-to-week. #1 “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” added 712,000 compared to the week prior. #2 ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer” added 634,000 and the “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” added 433,000 total viewers compared to the week of Oct. 31.
Compared to the same week last year “World News” and “Evening News” grew their audience. But of the three broadcasts, only CBS also grew in younger viewers.
