A big, albeit shortened week for the evening newscasts last week, with “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams,” topping 10,000,000 Total Viewers — the first time that’s happened since the Vancouver Olympics nine months ago.
All three broadcasts were up over their prior week averages, but because of Thanksgiving, ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer” and the “CBS Evening News” are based on two-day averages (Mon-Tues). NBC Nightly News is based on a 3-day average (Mon, Tues, Fri).
