“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was #1 again in the evenings last week. The NBC broadcast had a 977,000 total viewer lead on #2 “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer.” For the fourth straight week, Sawyer’s broadcast showed solid growth. Compared to the same week last year “World News” is up +10% in total viewers and up +6% in younger viewers.
The “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” showed the most year-over-year growth of three newscasts, adding more than 870,000 viewers from last year. The show is up +14% in Total Viewers and up +8% in younger viewers.
