Ed Schultz apology: ‘I used vile and inappropriate language… this is the lowest of the low for me.”

Ed Schultz spent the first few minutes of his show apologizing for the “vile and inappropriate language” he used on the radio yesterday. “I have embarrassed my family, I have embarrassed this company. This is the lowest of low for me.”

Schultz called Ingraham today to apologize, but did not reach her. While MSNBC released a statement that Schultz would be suspended for a week, unpaid, Schultz said he would be gone for, “an indefinite period of time.”

“Laura Ingraham I’m sorry. I’m very sorry.”
