Dow Jones Board Recommends Sale

AP bulletin, 11:20pm: “Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal, says its board has recommended that shareholders approve a sale of the company to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. media conglomerate for $5 billion.”

Here’s the WSJ story, which makes no mention of Fox Business Network…

> Update: 12:20am: “However the deal has yet to overcome its largest obstacle — approval by the mercurial Bancroft family,” the AP says. “The deal will next be presented to family members, most likely on Monday…”
