CNN International has named Matt Rivers and Oren Liebermann as correspondents, the network announced this morning. Liebermann will be based in CNN’s Jerusalem bureau and Rivers will be based in CNN’s Beijing bureau.
“Oren and Matt are multi-skilled and highly motivated reporters,” said Deborah Rayner, senior vice president of CNN International newsgathering. “Their passion for storytelling on all platforms will further strengthen our reportage in the Middle East and Asia.”
Liebermann joins CNN International after reporting for the network from Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Tel Aviv. Prior to joining CNN, he was a reporter at KYW in Philadelphia.

Rivers previously worked at KYW, KSAT-TV in San Antonio, Texas, and KTSM-TV in El Paso.
