Chris Vlasto Becomes Senior Broadcast Producer For Good Morning America

‘Primetime’ senior producer Chris Vlasto is moving to the mornings as the senior broadcast producer of Good Morning America’s first hour, senior EP Jim Murphy told staffers today. He replaces Tom Cibrowski, who was named EP last month.

“Chris has been involved in covering many of the big stories of the past decade,” Murphy’s memo says. “His desire to break big stories and grab great gets will add to GMA’s strength in this critical season. With his skill, desire and creativity, we hope to make our first hour the strongest, toughest, freshest and most interesting hour of morning television. With Jessica Guff continuing to supervise our second hour production, GMA has two powerhouses in place to lead us toward great strides this season.”
