The TV news softball wars march on, and “CBS This Morning” can add another notch to its belt, as it topped the team from NBC’s “Dateline” on Friday, 15-6.
It was the last scheduled game of the season, but given the competitive spirit of those in the TV news business, don’t be surprised if there is a playoff game added to the schedule. If you are keeping track, “CTM” topped a mixed ABC News team in June, and topped “Today” later in the month. “Today,” meanwhile, topped “Good Morning America” in July.
